Who is not in love with the idea of twirling en pointe in pink satin ballet shoes? You know if you have never experienced it, you may have wondered what it would be like to spin on the end of your toes graceful and floating. I love Ballet photography. I admire the dedication it takes to train your body and mind to become a ballet dancer…ballerina? I never made it past the little flat soft ballet shoes in the 6th grade. I did, however, take a ballet class in college. It was…stressful. Had trouble remembering the combos (please don’t put me at the front of the barre!) But in my mind I loved the feeling of being graceful and beautiful so the purpose was served and I was happy! Now, I just live vicariously through others by way of photography and this makes me happy now! Well, I still wish I could kick high over my head. A girl can keep dreaming, right? In the mean time, this is Caroline. She is a Senior in high school this year and will be a freshman at Florida State University in the Fall. SHE can kick over her head and is beautiful inside and out 🙂
