Marie chose the Model for a Day Senior Photography Session and boy did we use that to the fullest! She took advantage of the in studio-included Hair and Makeup Styling by Glam Culture and went for a bumped up natural vibe. We began her Senior Photography Session in the studio with portraits and then with her English Mastiff, Chewy and Ollie her little Yorkie terrier mix! So. Cute. WE LOVE photographing Seniors with their pets! Marie is a ballet dancer and since moving from Minnesota recently, she wanted some of her Senior Photography Session images on the beach at sunrise! Check!

We also traveled down to McKee Garden in Vero Beach for beautiful Lily Pond and waterfall images. What a beautiful album this Senior Photography Model for a Day session made! The wall art was framed and hung on one of their new Melbourne Beach home’s walls. Have a great first year at The University of Florida, Marie! Go Gators;)

Couture Senior Sessions are Underway!

Oh how I have waited for Florida in November!  Low humidity cooler days, even cooler  nights!  Well, the struggle is real. Here it is November 4th and it already 81 degrees at 9am. *Sigh* No matter how long you have been transplanted in Florida, your “Fall Clock” is just ticking.  But I digress 🙂  The Seniors have been waiting for our cooler weather to have their Dana Niemeier Photography Seniorography Sessions, but we will have to settle for the Lower Humidity to get it on!! It is off to a gorgeous start and the forecast is for more tulle with a few scattered pearls and preppiness!!  I will TAKE IT!!

Our Northern counterparts with their sunflower, cotton, waving fields of grain make us coastal Floridians long for those gorgeous, color filled shots! However we make due 🙂  Beaches, Botanical Gardens, Lagoons and Palm trees are what we rock here in the Sunshine State!  We even found a field of our own 😉 Here are a few of our first Senior “Fashion Collection” Sessions!  November-December is filling UP with them!!  After we shoot the fun Senior photos with the clients clothing choices, we move on to the Fashion Photography! Love it.

Anastasia…Edgy, Sparkles and Waves Session!

At our session consult I asked Anne what kind of photo shoot she envisioned. “I want it to be Fantastic!” OK then. Done.  She chose the Model for a Day Collection and decided on a rock and roll edgy/glamour shoot with a beach add-on.  Anne brought in a rack of potential outfits and jewelry options and we set to work putting together the perfect session.  This girl likes sparkle!!  Yay!  On shoot day, it was a packed afternoon with Hair and Makeup by One Love Salon’s Will Bernstein, 3 set -ups in Studio and by the time we were to head out for the beach THE BIGGEST STORM rolled in!  Welcome to Florida in the summer 🙂 We rescheduled for a few days later and had a BEAUTIFUL evening to capture some gorgeous soft portraits in and out of the water.  A true Florida and Bahamas girl who loves the beach!  Anastasia is leaving the sunshine state though and starts her college career at Ole Miss University in Oxford, Mississippi this fall!  Lucky Rebels!
