I love going back to Henderson, KY. My husband and oldest boy moved there in 1995 to be closer to family. Our youngest was born there. We made such good friends and loved the town with it’s straight, wide tree lined main street and beautiful central park. I was able to take photos of three of my friend’s daughters while I was there. Such fun! So great to be able to photograph in a different environment where the leaves change colors and the weather calls for colorful sweaters and hats! Henderson is home to John James Audubon Park and the W.C. Handy Blues and Barbecue Festival. It was a great place to live with some of the nicest people you have ever met! I have to thank Mr. Steve Martin, a phenomenal photographer in Henderson that recently retired. Thank you Steve for training these 3 girls from the time they were born! I didn’t have to tell them a thing 🙂
We had a wonderful time and I can’t wait to go back!! (camera in hand of course!!)
