Little Miss Hart has been waiting for this photo shoot only because there are horses involved! When her mom told me about her fascination with horses, I said, “Have I got the place for you!” I remember having toy horses when I was little and dreaming of being able to walk out to the stables and sit in the hay and read while my horse nuzzled me. You know, just like in the movies. (Funny thing, I never saw stable cleaning, feeding, grooming etc. in the movies.) Maybe that’s why little girls love horses so much! They are beautiful and dreamy. We set up in a beautifully lighted spot and just about after every shot she said, “Is is time to pet the horses now?” I think she was able to pet every horse in the stable and riding/jumping ring! She loved it and that makes me happy!! I love my job.
